Your data helps us deliver a seamless charging experience. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Activate and manage your EV charging sessions.
  • Process payments and provide receipts.
  • Locate nearby charging stations and give real-time availability.
  • Send service updates, invoices, and respond to inquiries.
  • Improve our network, troubleshoot issues, and personalize your experience.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

HailPower does not sell your personal data. We may share information only with:

  • Service partners: Payment processors, SMS/email providers, and charging station operators — under strict confidentiality.
  • Legal compliance: When required by Philippine law, regulation, or valid court order.
  • Business transfers: In case of merger or acquisition, your data remains protected under this policy.
Your trust matters. All third parties must adhere to the same data protection standards as HailPower.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard measures — including encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews — to protect your information. We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typically, account data is kept while active, and charging logs for up to 24 months.

5. Your Rights under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject in the Philippines, you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your data is processed.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Object to processing or request correction/erasure.
  • Data portability — obtain a copy in a structured format.
  • Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
